She is a 5-years old Dogue de Bourdeaux, Boxer mix.
Look at those sweet, soulful eyes and regal pose! Penny came to us from the Humane Society of Greater Niagara where they found her abandoned on Sunset Beach St. Catharines with her 9 puppies.
Penny was adopted from us 4-months ago and returned due to no fault of her own.
She is quiet and reserved girl who is eager to please with lots of love to give! She is good with dogs of all sizes and cats! She is extremely sweet and a cuddle bug. Penny loves treats and is great on leash. She also knows commands such as: sit, stay, down, place, come and heal.
Penny is obsessed with toys! Balls, 2" stuffies, you name it and she most likely loves it. Penny is very loyal and gravitates to protecting her family (do to her breed).
She rarely barks, is house trained, crate trained and walks amazing on leash. She really thinks she is a 60lb lap dog!
Penny is learning what life is like as house dog, the certain of attention in her foster family which will transfer to her forever family. She gets along with mostly everyone as long as you let her approach first. She really is the best balance of a sweet, fun, loving girl that also loves to snooze on the couch. Penny does great with obedience and this should be maintained do to her breed.
